HOTPLOTBY SOLEIL WORKS

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026

The short version

Write freely. Everything you write in Hotplot belongs to you, entirely. Don't use Hotplot to break the law or to hurt people, keep your account yours, and understand that the service is young and provided as-is while we build it.

Your work is yours

You retain all rights, title, and interest in the scripts and other content you create or upload. Hotplot's mentor is designed never to write, reword, or insert text into your script — every word on the page is yours. We claim no ownership and take no license beyond what is technically required to store, display, and sync your content to you and the collaborators you invite.

Your account

You must provide a real email address and keep your credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time; export your scripts first.

Acceptable use

  • No unlawful content or use, and no infringing other people's copyrights.
  • No attempting to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
  • No sending invitations or messages that amount to spam or harassment.
  • AI features are subject to fair-use limits (visible in the product) and to Anthropic's acceptable-use policy.

Collaboration

When you invite a collaborator, they can read and (if you grant editing) change the script you shared. Direct messages between collaborators are private to the two people in the conversation. You are responsible for who you invite.

Payment

Hotplot is currently free while in preview. If paid tiers launch, pricing will be shown clearly before you pay, and these terms will be updated with billing provisions — existing users will be notified by email first.

The unavoidable part

Hotplot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soleil Works is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim (currently: zero). Export and back up your work. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York; disputes belong to the state and federal courts located in New York County, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
